The Challenge

Being a high growth company and with digital marketing being the largest source of acquisition, the company was hitting a plateau with regards to online lead generation. The strategy needed a revamp and Shout took over the strategy and built the paid search strategy from scratch, implementing Google Adwords, retargeting and strategic banner placements on high traffic industry sites.

The company was lacking any support of an organic search strategy. Several competitors have been active in the SEO space for a number of years, so there was some catch up displace competitors from the top positions.


The Solution

On the SEO front, Shout conducted a thorough competitor analysis to look at competitors activity, content and link building. Based on the findings a tailored linking building strategy was devised to outrank competitors and deliver high volumes of leads through the site organically.

With paid search, the existing campaign was to set and forget and a more fluid and optimised campaign needed to be implemented. The average cost per lead needed to be reduced – The campaign was set up from scratch and Google retargeting was implemented to drive up impressions and lift brand recognition and to close the conversion loop on sales.
